Abstract

This research aims at the following:- 1- Define periphrastic styles to teach memorizing 2- Build a suggested educational program to teach memorizing according to periphrastic styles for sixth elementary grade pupils, which is include the following:- a- The six memorizing in the book of Arabic language texts which is intended to be taught for sixth elementary grade pupils, Kareem Obaid Al-Waili and others, Ministry of Education, Republic of Iraq, 9th edition, 1437 AH- 2016 AD. b- The six periphrastic styles are: (pictures periphrastic, voice periphrastic, spatial periphrastic, external materials periphrastic, relations periphrastic and internal meaning periphrastic). c- Pupils of sixth elementary grade at the elementary stage at directorates general of education in Baghdad governorate. Since this program aims at build a suggested educational program to teach memorizing according to periphrastic styles for sixth elementary grade pupils, then the descriptive approach is the suitable procedure to conduct the research, the research population consist of:- 1- Sixth elementary grade pupils at schools subsidiary to the six directorates general of education in Baghdad. 2- The six memorizing in the reading book of sixth elementary grade, Kareem Obaid Al-Waili and others, Ministry of Education, Republic of Iraq, 9th edition 1437 AH - 2016 AD. In order to define the basic research sample, we must choose one from the six directorates general of education in Baghdad governorate, then to choose one elementary school randomly in order to apply the suggested educational program. This research needs to prepare an achievement test to measure the pupils memorizing in order to identify the program`s efficiency in future; in witness whereof, the researcher puts a conception to build a test based on procedures stated in the research (3rd chapter), the researcher has used a statistical design (spss) in processing the data, then he presented results of this research pursuant to the research`s goals as following:- 1- Results related to the first goal (identify periphrastic styles in teaching memorizing). This goal was verified by recognizing periphrastic styles in the theoretical side of the research (2nd chapter). 2- Results related to the 2nd goal which is (“Build a suggested educational program to teach memorizing according to periphrastic styles for sixth elementary grade pupils”). This goal was verified by specifying procedures to build the suggested educational program in (procedures) in the (3rd chapter) and (5th chapter).
